Welcome to White Mark Farm Camping & Caravanning Club certificated site in Watlington, Oxfordshire. We are a small, friendly, family run hideaway site allowing just 5 caravans / motor homes /campervans and approx 50 tents per night. We are set at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in a quiet area of 'outstanding natural beauty' yet only 3 miles from the M40 motorway and half mile from the town of Watlington, Oxfordshire(the smallest in the country). We have been recommended by C&CC members and this has been endorsed by the Clubs own voluntary site officers.
The site offers views across the open Oxfordshire countryside, with good walking and cycling in the immediate area. The National Ridgeway Trail runs alongside the campsite making it an ideal overnight stop for those walking the whole trail. There are excellent photo opportunities with Red Kites flying overhead and plenty of other wildlife to be seen.
Local pubs, restaurants and shops are all within half mile, and we offer a good base for visiting the historic City of Oxford (18 miles), Windsor, Legoland, Thorpe Park, The River Thames at Henley (10 miles) and Marlow (15 miles), or day trips to London with London Marylebone Station approx 40 mins from High Wycombe. We have a separate field for self-contained caravan rallies, large family camping parties, Duke of Edinburgh Award Groups and a section especially for those backpacking. |
